Ok so my son is 3 months old and mostly breastfed, sometimes formula but only when I don't have any BM ready to give if I think he's still hungry after emptying my boob. Let me give you the preface to this story; I work full time, the graveyard shift 12am-9am so my husband gives my son a bottle in the middle of the night and sometimes before I get home from work. My son also gets bottles of BM at daycare twice a week (3 bottles a day). When I first started making him bottles a month ago, They were 4oz. each. At the two month appointment he was gaining weight fine and growing normally and I believe he has continued with this trend. He looks to be growing and he's a happy baby 90% of the time. I tried to give more but he doesn't want it and he doesn't spend alot of time on the breast (10min tops on one boob and won't take the other) He sometimes won't even finish the 4oz in the bottle. Is this enough for him? He does feed about every 2 hours (I feed on demand when I'm with him). I just keep reading about these other babies eating 5, 6, 7 and 8oz per feeding and I feel like he's not getting enough but he won't take it! He wets tons of diapers during the day and his poops are fine; usually once a day. Am I worrying about nothing (I have a tendency to do that)?
