I was just wondering if any of you ladies have tried this for weight loss...

It says that it is okay to use while breastfeeding. But I'm unsure about taking stuff. I'm just having a hard time working out like I should be and was looking to see if I could find some sort of breast feeding diet and that pulled up. So what do you ladies think?

i've done a lot of research on weight loss stuff for my personal interest and really the stuff that can get in these things that are not listed on the packaging is ewwy!  Do some google searching for excersising with baby and they have a ton of excersises that you can do with the baby too so you can spend some 1 on 1 time.  Teaches the little ones from a young age that excersise is good!

You could just get a thing of Whey powder and mix it with frozen fruit to make your own drink mixes.

I just eat lots of fruit and veggies. If you don't buy fattening food then you don't eat it.. and since you're bf you'll be burning calories that you arn't replacing. I read online you dont' have to eat "extra" if you're breast feeding...Half the world population that breastfeeds is malnurished and they still produce milk. Just slash your calories and you should do ok. The fat you put on during pregnancy is for using to make milk.

All those drinks are doing is lowering your calorie intake and making you feel full so you don't over eat. There is no magical pill or drink that makes you lose weight, they just fill you up so you arnt eating other foods. I think psylliam fiber (sorry spelling is probably off on that) is what fills you up so you arn't constantly eating, and you can buy that at the health food store. Mix it in with some low fat yogurt and pow, you have their shake.

I dont care what anyone says, there is NO substitute for hard work (exersize) and a good healthy balanced diet! Those things combined are the very best way to loose weight and KEEP it off!

Something that I do that helps (note, HELPS, as I try to eat healthy and stay active as well) is to use coconut oil...research it, lots of health benefits! It helped me drop 20lbs in a month once! and its a whole heck of a lot cheaper than some diet pills or shakes with shady ingrediants.

Good luck!

Does your breastfeeding baby pull your hair? Pinch your skin? yank your necklaces?

Yeah I know. I told DH that with BF & growth spurts that I might be fat for another year. LOL I think I'm just going to try out more Mommy & Me exercises. I've done crunches with him in my lap. Then I can do the side leg lifts while feeding him. That's all I've done so far so I think I'm going to find more to do.

lol..yeah i keep trying to do crunches and other things atleast 3times a wk trying to aim for more though. i want to lose weight (which is hard for me when i have an excess of  progesterone in my system) and tone my butt and thighs so i googled ways to do that and i got a few that seem to b working, i dont see results yet ince i just started a little over a wk ago but i can as they say feel the burn when i do them. lol.
hope you find these helpful!

WAYS TO HELP TONE BUTT AND THIGHS!

One of the best workouts, (J-Lo Proven) for working buttocks is this leg-lifting exercise. Keeping it bent, lift your leg up like a dog cocking its leg. Lift till your thigh is level with your body. Hold this for 5 seconds, and then repeat on the other side. When you first begin the exercises, do this 5 times on each side. As you get better, try 10 on each side for the challenge.

Try squats. Stand straight, don't arch your back. As you squat down into a kind of sitting position, keep your thighs parallel to the ground. Keep your knees over your toes, and stretch your arms out for balance.

Try butt squeezes. You can do them any time of the day whether in class or sitting at the computer. It's best to continue a set until your butt gets sore. Simply contract your glute muscles, hold the squeeze for as long as possible (aim for 30 seconds or more), then release and repeat as often as you'd like.
