then they want to do it ALL day!! lol  My 13 month old has learned to say "nurse" - well she actually says "nert" which is super cute. But man oh man, now that she can make her wishes known, she is constantly begging to nurse.

"if they are old enough to ask for it...  then they aren't going to let you talk them out of it either.

I have an over obsessed 34 month old cornering me, trying to reach into my shirt, saying "teta, teta (spanish for breast)".  I've been trying to encourage self weaning, but he has a relationship with these things that I can't break.  It's no longer for milk, as the nursing session stopped a while ago, but he needs to know they are there.  He comes over to sniff me, if I get to near him he'll sneak a hand into my shirt to rub against them & if he sees a nipple, I'm done, he'll be on me faster than I can blink.

I by no means will be so firm in my no that it will bring him to tears, but I do try to distract him.  Once I told him "how about a hug instead?" & he responded It's not the same!
