We use a mixture that is equal parts maalox and aquaphor. I mix it in a little Tupperware and apply it with a q-tip. It doesn't mix into a
cream and it is a little
gloppy but it works so fast.

I use destin or OTC yeast cream.  I have not dealt with an extremely bad rash though.

I always just used powder and when needed aired out their little bums. If it's a candida(yeast) rash then you can use OTC antifungals like clotrimazole, lotritmin, etc.

Sometimes we use desitin; but usually alternating powder and petroleum jelly works the best for us.

We use triple butt paste.  Never really had a diaper rash that was bad though just a little red.

We use vaseline (petroleum jelly) it serves as a skin protectant, but doesn't have any chemicals in it like desitin, and doesn't run the risk of yeast infections like powder does.

A&D works wonders for my daughter.  It clears it up within hours and a bonus it can be used for chafing on her legs from her kicking so much and rubbing against the side of the diaper.

I use Desitin after every change and it usually goes away within a day or so!

Also try the Baby Oil Gel! Works great!
