im pretty interested in this,  the whole solid foods thing.  instead of pureeing it you just mash it up then?  oly wont be   having sollids for anothe 2 months. We will start on avacado and then not sure from there. what is the best way to"mash" the food, i have a magic bullet. I read the article on wholesomebabyfood.com

it was pretty cool. im just not sure where to start, i never knew solids that were pureed  caused problems. now i dont know what to do.. edit! i didnt see the link for the foods lol!

  who else is doing this?

I am a disposable diapering, baby wearing, co -sleeping, car seat safety obsessed momma to a adorable little boy who enjoys mommas milk.

I know there was another mom here who posted on this. Heck, I never pureed a thing. Fork mash at most. Pureeing is too much work.

With our son, he didn't solids (more than a taste) till in was 7.5 months. By that time he had 6 teeth, so I gave him whatever we had that was soft. I would cut mac and cheese up or green beans but I didn't mash much.
