my kids seem to have gone thru stages where that is the "only" way to comfort them but it never lasted to long and when i say "only" ts mainly bc that is not the only way but the easiest and quickest.  "This to shall pass"

also often people who are not familiar with bfing will say that they feel that way about bf babies but it's not the ONLY way its just the easiest and quickest - again.  \ hope that helps

my LO is 3 weeks old and is the SAME way.. it makes me feel good b/c im doing something for no one else can.. in fact she will stop crying when i just pick her up and take her from other people... but at the same time it gets exhausting!
