Abreva or the stuff from the inside of the aloe plant (vitamin E capsules work too)

When you are no longer bf (no help now I know) but lisine is your BEST friend. I take a few pills in the morning to jumpstart it and a few as the day goes on. Helps it from getting worse.

I thought you can't? But hell if you can go for it! Cuz it works! =)
I think I looked it up on kellymom once and it was sort of in the gray area.

I usually do abreva and l-lysine. My mom swears by tea tree oil.

Put breastmilk on it, I had never had a cold sore go away faster than 2 weeks but I had one a few months ago put bm on it every 2 hours or so and it was gone in 2 days, I just hand expressed onto little piece of toilet paper til soaked then dabbed on mouth :)
