Antidepressants...

I was on an antidepressant all through my pregnancy with my daughter, I was on it before I got preg, and I just got off it maybe 3ish months ago, she was about 6 months at the time. The doc said it was perfectly safe to nurse with it. I was on zoloft's generic sertraline or something like that. I am having anxiety lately and am thinking about getting back on it. I have about 4 months supply in my cabinet so I have plenty till I go back to the doc for my physical but is it safe for me to just get back on it?? When i took myself off it I weaned off it slowly.

You may want to place a call to your HCP to inquire about any dosage adjustments.

That's the problem, my doc has left the practice and moved to new Zealand so I currently don't have a doctor. :-/.
