How many dirty diapers are normal?

I've heard that very few dirty diapers are kind of the norm for EBF babies, but what about a LOT of them? Is that normal as well? My eight week old (2 weeks adjusted) has, and has always had, 5 to 8 dirties in 24 hours. Several small "squirts" and at least 3 or 4 big ones that fill the diaper. Is that normal just as 1 every day or two can be normal?

Yes I believe it is. My dD use to have a drity diaper every time I changed her. She's now almost 3months and still has about 3+ dirty diapers a day

That sounds exactly like my DD. In almost every diaper is a little skid mark, and she fills at least 4 diapers outside of that.

Same with my DS. 2-4 big dirty dipes and 2-4 little squirts.

Yep a breastfed baby can have a dirty diaper for every feeding! It will slow down though, my 7 month old has 3 a day!
