Cold meds?

i've caught my daughters germs and everything has went straight to my chest. is Robitussin with JUST guaifenesin safe while breastfeeding. i'm allergic to the others because of the antihistamines.

Yes, that robitussin is safe. The only cold meds you want to stay away from are the decongestants, like pseudoephedrine, because they can lower your milk supply.

Thanks all. I called the pharmacist and he told me it was safe. I found it on Kellymom.com and it was a class L2. I was still uneasy about it- so I only took the 2 teaspoons but I really need more. Thanks for your info. I always feel more easy when I ask you ladies.
