how do you know when your breast is empty?

my dd is nursing and i keep feeling like a pulling sensation...is this cuz that breast is empty?

I don't think your breasts ever fully empties. It constantly produces . That's why you don't have to wait until you feel full to nurse!

Your breast is never empty.  Milk is being made as you nurse.  The sensation you describe could be your let down, or just something that's nothing.
