Gagging at the breast

Connor is almost 10mo... Not doing so well with foods (and still practically no bottle tolerance). Tonight we were playing with food again. He starting gagging (no big deal) and then vomited (again no big deal). He then refused anything. No spooned food, no table food (no big deal) so I offered him breast. He would gag as soon as it entered his mouth. So we take a break. He is clearly hungry. I have been at work all day and he barely took the bottle (like always). So I know he is hungry. He us screaming and doing his normal hunger signs. An hour later, still gagging when breast enters mouth (he isn't even getting as far as latching on)

What do I do? Ive even squirted some directly in mouth and it looks like he is gonna spew!

Di, I am so sorry your post got missed. I am generally offline on weekends, and it looks like this place was a bit too busy.

You did precisely the right thing. All you CAN do is continue to offer. They eat when they are ready. It's possible teething caused the issue.
