Doctors used to advise women to bind themselves in order to speed the dry up process. . .but it doesn't work and causes a lot of problems (or can). It just means either wearing a very tight sports bra or some women wrapped an ace bandage around their breasts very tightly.

This.I was given advice to do this when I stopped bfing my youngest dd.But after a few hours I was in so much pain from the ace bandage being too tight and my breasts were so full.I said forget it and weaned her slowly.
