My friends baby is biting

Hi. I don't breastfeed anymore. I gave up at six months :/ but my friend has a 11
Month old and he is biting her a lot and she doesn't know what to do... What can help this?

 In short, when he bites, pull him off, tell him no, that hurts, and put him down.  End the session then, and walk away from him for a bit.  DO it every time he bites.  If he does it at a certain time or right before he unlatches, keep a finger handy to stick between him and the nipple.
