I wouldn't do anything under 3 yrs. I'd fight to nurse for 3 yrs if I had to. So 3 yrs would be my absolute minimum, I'm thinking whenever they don't want to as a max. As said before typically between 6-8.

I would love to make it to 4, even 5 wouldn't be too bad I don't think! :)

When the child no longer wants it. No calendar date to that.

There's no age limit.

My 5 yr old is losing teeth lol

Agreed. These changes usually happen around 7-8 years of age, and that would be my personal cut off.

Quoting aehanrahan:

Too old is when the child can no longer latch due to changes in the jaw due to losing the baby teeth.

When the child no longer is able to or no longer has the desire to!  My 4 yr old just weaned a bit before she turned 4 because her latch changed and she could not get milk... I am pregnant too so that contributed it I am sure... my 22 month old is still nursing.

I went to a 14 months but I think I'm comfortable at 2 for myself I think it's just weird past the age of 4.

Personally: when the child walks, talks, and can feed themselves. I don't plan in going longer than a year, but that's just me. My sil nursed my niece till she was almost 2... Des basically used her as a paci. So 1 or 2, but that's just me.

11, high school and all that.  Lol jk. I would never knock someone who nursed a child of any age, but I personally would probably stop at 3, but I plan to wean by the time she is 2 (17m atm)... it's not because I think she's too old, though.
