Celestyn started to do this latch pull off latch and pull off... My nipples are becoming raw...

I try to counter her pulling off bc its almost like its not on purpose.

She's getting frustrated. Im trying not to tense up in pain. I'm not engorged. I've tried pumping before a feeding...

I don't know what I'm doing wrong...

Have you tried a different hold? I notice that when I cradle hold my little man he does that too (it isn't making my nipples sore like yours though) but when I football hold him he stays on better. I think he likes how he is actually more tightly cradled...

I have tried different holds...

It's like all of the sudden she hates my nipples...

Do you have OAL? Is she teething? Possible earache?

how old? usually around 6ish months babies get extremely distracted and want to look/move around.

also could be teething, growth spurts, sickness.

sounds like she may be going through a growth spurt. 3 wks is usually a big one.

my dd (21 days) is doing this as well...i noticed she does it a little more if she is not super hungry so I try to hold out and really make sure she is hungry and not just wanting to play around w/ my sore nipples.

This sounds like a growth spurt with some overactive letdown thrown in.

Dylan just started doing this again at 6 months. He did it around 3 weeks as well it didn't last long make sure to use some nipple cream between and I love the  gel pads I used them out of the fridge it helped SO much.
