Finger in her mouth while she eats???

Okay so my daughter who is 6.5 months old has taken to putting her index finger in the corner of her mouth while she is eating.  Is this a sign that she wants to break the latch or just a soothing thing?  I have never seen her do this until about a week ago.  I started counting her diapers to make sure and she has about 4-6 a day and a bowel movement once every 3 days or so.  Should I be worried?

My son has been doing this since he was around 5 months, he's 9 months now and still does it...because he can, I suppose. Nothing to worry about!

It's merely a new trick she's learned. If it's causing you problems, correct her.
