My doctor wants me to give...

Juice! Uh no! Why would I skip breastmilk for juice? I guess I am suppose to start giving him some once a day. I looked at their leaflet and it is over 10 years old! Then it says I need to start rice cereal. No way! I told the doctor I am delaying solids. I am so glad they did not push the issue. My mil disagrees and says my bm does not have the same stuff as juice. LOL!

your MIL is right.....your breastmilk is not overprocessed & full of unnecessary sugars. lol  Cereal & juice are never necessary & juice I wouldn't give til after a year old.....even then in small watered down amounts

I thought about educating them but decided not to. No other practice in this town will be any different I guarentee it. Hell parents around here put cereal in bottles still.

Then I would reconsider educating them because this is awful.

Yeah I should. I feel so bad for the babies that are being fed this crap. I just could not figure out the right way to go about it. Should I bring in new material or tell them their stuff is outdated?
