Tattoos and breastfeeding

I'm sure its a no no, but curious, can u get a tattoo while breastfeeding? o and can I drink eggnog (non spiked of course)

It's safe. The ink will not transfer to the milk as long as you go to a reputable and safe tattoo shop. The ink used in tattoos is subject to FDA regulations, just FYI.

Even spiked eggnog would be fine. If you were to get sick from raw eggs, you would suffer, not the baby.

Isn't eggnog pasturized(sp?)...well obviously not if its homemade.

Egg nog and tattoos are both on the OK list. 

The caveat on tattoos is that your breastfeeding hormones CAN impact the ink colors. And since our bodies are still changing post partum, you want to be sure the "canvas" is the way it needs to be.

Same here. And I have my oldest sons name on my wrist so I aNy to get landons. on my other wrist and his baby feet on my other shoulder.

Yes you can, just make sure VERY clean, alwyas new needles too
