Ohh ok i c, yeah i did in the hospital like when he 1st came out ontill the nurse or wte took him 4rm me :-(..

Quoting comf:

Skin to skin promotes bonding, breastfeeding, helps your milk supply, etc.

I think by the time they are too old they will not want to anymore. Personally I don't do it because I like to have on clothes but I did for the first week.

So is a month 2 old for skin to skin..???

I love skin to skin.  I don't personally think it's ever inappropriate.  Just at certain ages it should be different skin :)  I am a toucher.  There are days when I am stressed and when I go to bed I will snuggle up behind my husband and put my face against his bare back and I can feel all of the tension leaving my body.  Literally a 4 inch diameter circle is touching him and it's enough that I can feel my entire body relax.  I will be hugging my older kids and I respond to their skin on mine.  My 8 year old and I will sit next to each other on the couch and our arms will touch, it's so intimate and loving.  Now, at 8 I wouldn't be comfortable with her up against my bare breasts but cheek to cheek, arm to arm, her little hands on the back of my neck when we hug?  It's super important in my world so I can only imagine how comforting it could be to a little one

My dd falls asleep best on the nights when I fall asleep nursing her after a shower with her naked wrapped in my bathrobe (she's 18 mo btw :)

You can breastfeed as long as you want to. Most toddlers will self wean around the age of 3 or so, or you can wean. The World Health Org recommends breastfeeding till at least 2 years old. Thats totally normal.

I dont't think there is a set age, whenever you or little one doesn't want to do it anymore. One of my 5 year old twins still pulls up my shirt and hers to be skin to skin with me. =)
