Anything I can take for a cold?

Is there anything I can take for a cold while breastfeeding? My 9 month old is also sick. We've been bathing her in the "Johnsons Soothing Vapor Bath", that seems to help, but is there anything else I can do for her too?

You can take robitussin and sudofed, sudofed lowers your milk pully a little but the least of all decongestants.  robitussin is safe though.

My doctor said that DayQuil is safe to take.

Okay, thanks so much! I hate to take anything, but I feel so misserable, and I don't want to get my hubby sick. If he gets sick, he won't be able to get out of work, so he'll be even more misserable than me.

There's a great list on kellymom.com. I think I'm going to have to set up a sticky.
