Breast pump issues

I just got an Ameda purely yours pump. It seems like one of the sides has less auction. Is this normal for anyone else that has this pump? I can't pump both sides at the same time now because one side has less suction no matter what breast it's on. I just want to make sure everything is working correctly.

Check the valve to make sure it's not damaged and to make sure it's on tightly. Make sure your tubes are connected securely.  Also, make sure the diaphram is air tight. You might be able to hear a hissing sound if it's not on tight enough.  Try taking it off and putting it back on to make sure. Suction should be the same on both sides, so something is wrong with the attachments.  Either their damaged or not on there correctly.
