Lump under breast

I'm asking this question for a friend. She's 6 months pregnant and has a giant lump under one of her breasts suddenly. It hurt a lot yesterday, but made her stop working from the pain today. She thought it may be scar tissue from where she had surgery years ago. Maybe the shifting and squishing of her pregnant body has caused it to bunch into that location and become irritted? I wondered if it could be a clogged duct? She's not breastfeeding at this time, but I was wondering if you can get clogged ducts while pregnant since you're breasts are beginning to make milk?

Clogged ducts are highly unlikely during pregnancy. Is this on the underside of the breast itself or on the rib cage of the abdomen? There are no ducts in that area. She may have slef-diagnosed already; she should talk to her doc.

I would see the doc and if she is wearing underwire tell her to stop!
