That particular picture made me really start thinking about women in other countries. Especially those that don't have the option of formula. They have no choice but to breastfeed their baby otherwise it will die. But what do they do if they truly cannot breastfeed?

A newborn? Doubt it. I'm thinking that they may have a few lactating mothers around the same time and basically nurse the other baby.

Only if there were other lactating mothers. If not it was solids and water.

In these areas of the world its rare to find a group without lactating women, but sure baby would be fed solids and water and then DIE a slow miserable death of water intoxication and malnourishment if you want to go that far

Wet nurse. Other lactating mothers will help nurse the baby.

Jesus Christ, Albert Einstein and Michael Jordan were all breastfed to

age three and beyond. The day YOU have SIX NBA Championship rings and

millions of dollars in endorsement contracts, a Noble Prize in Physics

AND the ability to walk on water, you may make comments.

It almost never happens. Women's bodies were made to feed their babies. Lactation is the natural consequence of pregnancy. Not being able to breastfeed is extremely rare if there is no other option.
