My DD is 11mths old and I'm having a really hard time nursing. She has 6 teeth and she bit me a few days ago. My nipple is sore and isn't healing quickly. Now every time she latches on it hurts so badly I have to stop after a few minutes.  I want to nurse my baby and it killing me that I haven't been doing a good job. She has been so fussy and I cant help but think if I could nurse her for more than a few minutes that she would be happy.  I'm also 12wks pregnant, my friends and family keep telling me to just stop nursing so i will have a break between babies. Does anyone have any advice that doesn't involve giving up?

The fussiness might be due to the pregnancy; your milk might be changing. Express milk and apply it to the sore spot. Changing positions might help as well. Good luck!
