I know the sign for milk but how do I go about teaching my 4.5 month old son? Do I just keep saying milk and signing it right before its time to nurse?

Yup, I said "milk" and did the sign for milk just before offering my breast. :) It took awhile for each kid to pick it up, but after a few days I could tell they recognized what it meant (daddy would sign milk, and they would start grinning lol).

there are two ways for milk. one is just for milk one is for breast milk. when you say it sign it. it takes about 3 to 6 months to learn it. there is an app on the phone to teach you it cost 4 dollars but well worth it! its called my smart hands.

Hope this helps!
