As we learned in our Healthy Eating Challenge, good nutrition helps a nursing mom stay healthy and feel better.

Cottage cheese with nacho cheese doritos... its amazing. And semi healthy.

Quick and easy was my motto when it came to snacks - prewashing fruits and veggies so I could just grab and go, trail mix, chicken salad and crackers, and edamame.

Yah I'm still working on this, lol.
We are dairy, gluten, and egg free...
I was eating oatmeal cookies (1 cup peanut butter, 1 cup sugar, 1 egg (I used flax) one package instant oatmeal- bake at 350 for about 10 min) but they made my oal worse, lol!

My favorite snacks are fresh fruits and veggies.  I LOVE fresh crunchy veggies like bell peppers or sweet peppers and ranch dressing.

I also like to snack on california rolls...the seaweed can help raise supply.

Dry seaweed is a GREAT snack too

My Husband got me an amazing machine called a Blendtec blender.  I grab whatever fruit and veggies we have laying around and a few cups of frozen berries throw the lid on and press a button in less than 3 minutes I have whole fruit juice/smoothies that can double as a meal.  A wonderful treat for me while I'm trying to get everything else done and completely guilt free as it's so much cheaper than the ones from the mall their smalls are $5 a pop and have sugaer, mine are just fruit and veggies, at most some water/ice/ or a splash of juice.
