That sucks.. I kinda have the same problem.. we have a small room that we pump in and whenever I am in there there is another mommy that likes to come on my time, she knocks and before I can even get the I'M IN HERE words out she already has her key in the door and flinging it open.. then she's like oh sorry didn't hear you.. Im like well you would if you LISTENED!!! I cant stand it, I now made a sign the clearly says the room is OCCUPIED maybe she won't be as blind as she is def...

im lucky on that one, only security and maint have the key... but it just drives me crazy that she cant sleep in the comfy chairs in the break room... haha maybe ill just go into the breakroom (it has a tv, computer, comfy chairs and everything) and pump ;)

I never looked at pumping as something I couldn't do in front of another woman -with a cover on.

My secretary had a key and could knock and use it if it was necessary-I used a cover (it was less distracting to me that way) I dunno it was tough for me to answer emails with my boobs hanging out-I focused better with the cover on!

2 moms liked this

I'd be talking to my HR person.  My office would not tolerate that.  no one should be sneaking off to Sleep.

I would NOT have gone to my car.  She would have to deal!

i work in a call center, with windows inbetween the cubes lol thats why the first aid room is so awesome, if i was in an office i would totally just use my cover, but it doesnt work that well :(

I'm so thankful I work in postpartum at a women's hospital.. The only problem I think I will run into is when we're super busy in cant just walk away and tell my patient "I gotta go pump now."
