This is brandons lansinoh bottle. i am trying to get him to drink from one, in my eyes he is still too small for a sippy. he is gradually starting solids so i want him to drink a little water while he eats. anyways he would suck for like half a second then just play with it.
do you have pics of you lo with a bottle, if so lets see. did they catch on easily?

2 moms liked this

He's got that, "Mom, have you gone nuts?" look, y'know... he knows where the good stuff is! **grin** Technically, someone is supposed to be holding him unless he's sitting up on his own.

None of my kids ever took bottles with anything in it. We always started giving sippys when they started solids but we never started solids until around 9 months or so. I agree he needs to be held unless he is stitting on his own.

I always just offered a sippy of water and they "got it" when they were ready to.   If he's old enough for solids, he's old enough for a sippy... but he really doesn't "need" water.   We just used it for practice.

My first breastfed baby didn't figure out the bottle until he was 8 months or so... Then he was crawling around the house with the bottle sticking out of his mouth.

He nurses before eating solids but i just figured if he got thirsty while eating he could have a sip. he always gets boob again like ten minutes after eating
