Unless you're not changing dipes often enough, leave him be. Jodyann nailed it for you.
Go with the flow is your motto for the next few months. Actually, to be very honest... pretty much for the rest of your life!
Jaundice is the excepton, otherwise go with the baby :)

I woke my baby every 4 hours to nurse when he was that old, but he had jaundice pretty bad and the nurse said feeding him more often would help. He would wake up, eat and fall right back asleep.

He was born with problems breathing and put in NICU they took care of his jaundice to while he was there I was lucky I never had to go home without him for the hospital put me in a room next to the NICU for free..so, I could come in and nurse him every 3 hours and then give him formula then about two days before we left the hospital they got me to drop the supplement and EBF him..He got to stay room with me the last two night's and days.. he was in the NICU for 8 days..

My pediatrician said to wake him after 3 hours to nurse him. He could get dehydrated if he goes too long without nursing. Now that he's 5 weeks I let him sleep as much as he wants, but I did wake him for a coupld weeks when he was new.
Okay, don't try to time his feeding. When he wakes up, nurse him. Pay no attention to the clock, just your baby. The "snacks" are really feedings. Babies at that age will nurse sometimes every hour. They also have a lot of growth spurts where they act like they are starving and have never seen you. That's normal. You won't go wrong if you follow your baby's leading. Nurse fully from one side before offering the other side so your baby gets the hindmilk. Yellow and orange are normal colors, let us know if you see green though.
That's great for the output, so he's doing fine in the amount he's getting. Just keep doign what your doing and don't worry about it :)
