But, my poor 6 month dd has had croup for going on 3 weeks, and I've done what the er doc told me and the pediatrician, just give her tylenol, steam, anxd cold air... nothing seems to be helping... what do you guys do? What would you do? She's suffering so much and I just want her to stop. :-(

Take her back in.  Croup only lasts about 5 days.  Something else is going on.

My son had croup on and off last winter and his dr said it could take a few weeks for it all to go away. It felt like we had the barking cough all winter. But as long as her breathing is good it just takes time. If she is having trouble breathing I would take her back.

She had a ped appt on Thursday.... And so idk. She's breathing ok... it was a lot worse a week ago. :-( but the coughing fits wake her up in the middle of the night, and she will be in a lot of pain.
