Of all the breastfed baby poop combinations I have seen and heard of, my daughter's poop is confusing me a bit.
It's clear (water-colored) with bright yellow/orange "seeds" rather than being yellow with seeds. Sometimes the watery bits are yellow tinged, but generally her poops look like a bunch of yellow rubbery seeds suspended in water. When they come out into a diaper the clear part disappears into the diaper without staining and leaves all the yellow rubbery seeds on the surface. If you move them around with a baby wipe they don't leave behind any yellow on the diaper's surface.
She's gaining weight very rapidly (born on Friday the 13th at 7:9.5, lowest weight on Monday at 7:2., then by the next Monday she was 8:2. She's now rapidly closing in on 9lbs.
I've just never seen or heard of "clear poop".
i have had that several times with nursing. I am sure just diet, but i can't tell you want as i still ate pretty much everything while nursing (with the exception of foods that cause colic) and of course mostly halthy foods.. what you eat can often times change the color.. i always thought nursing babies had yellow poop but i have seen it clear or like a discharge color and even green but all had the seedy look..
