We stayed at Great Wolf Lodge which is a family themed hotel with a water park. My SO commented that a woman's child was too old to be breastfed in public. Her kid was maybe 1 1/2 or 2 and she was covered up. I was sad by his comment because he knows I've been trying very hard to normalize breastfeeding in public and thought he was supportive, but now that I think about it, he's never really said what he feels. I actually snapped at him and said, "Shame on you! It's comments like that, that have made breastfeeding in public socially unacceptable!" Then I got up, sat down next to her and nursed too. Lol. Did I over act?
