New Mom's Breastfeeding Questions

To start off I am a soon to be first time Mom my daughter is due september 3,2012 and I would love to breastfeed but the closer it gets the more nervous I get. Am I going to be doing it right,am I doing the right thing,Am I a bad mom if it doesn't work out and then all these questions keep running through my head some days I just wake up feeling so overwhelmed.I also wonder if it's safe to have a drink or so with my Husband every once in a while. Were not alcholics in any means just sometimes it would be nice to have a date night or so and be able to have a drink with him instead of always watching him drink I have no idea what the rules are about breastfeeding and drinking on occassion again I do not drink often the most I had was drinking a glass of wine while making dinner.Am I a bad mother? btw google just confuses people even more.

HUGS! Don't overwelmed with all of these "what ifs".  The book suggested is great. Gong to a La Leche League meeting is free and so helpful, I would go before baby is born. http://www.llli.org/ http://www.kellymom.com/ is great too. AND your determination as well if you ever come across negativity towards breastfeeding.  Breastfeeding really is very natural and its not very common for a women to not be able to breasfteed. The problem is the negativity people have and coming across ignorant doctors etc that try and push formula. So, surround yoursefl with supportive people, like this group, and ignore that nay sayers!
