Is this normal for breastfeeding?? I have eaten, drank water, not had more than a cup of coffee, & taken prenatals when it happens so I have no idea what's causing this. I have been trying to lose weight but only by limiting junk, not by restricting calories. I don't know any breastfeeders so I don't have anyone to ask. Idk if maybe its hormone related? Anyone else experience this? Dh is getting a little worried so Idk if this is something to be concerned about but I may have to call a dr about it soon. I just don't know!
I get woozy spells like that when my blood pressure drops. I almost always have low blood pressure anyway, but definitely have more pronounced issues when standing up quickly. I also get problems with low blood sugar, if I'm not eating enough. And crap, if that isn't enough, I also suffer from recurrent bouts of SSRI discontinuation syndrome from antidressant use years ago, and that makes my head spinny sometimes. My first suspicion is a blood pressure thing, either too high or too low. Try to get it checked when you're having a spell.
Sounds like vertigo. It could be, and most likely is, completely benign. It can also be a sign of some really serious problems in your ears and brain. But, the most likely possibility is "benign positional vertigo." A balance specialist can give you simple exercises to correct it.
Yes, definitely sounds like vertigo, and no, not at all associated with breastfeeding. See your doc. You might also get referred to an ENT.
