Vacation and pumping

I'm going on a cruise for a week.  Right now DD only nurses mornings and nights.  I'm thinking about just pumping 1 time a day unless I'm engorged.  Do you think this is sufficient to keep up with nursing 2x a day afterwards?

No I would pump the same number of times baby nurses if not more because you can't empty your breasts with a pump. It will hurt your supply....

I would pump when the child would nurse

Her baby is over a year old and her supply is fully established. The baby only nurses twice a day. She could actually go with just hand expressing once or twice to relieve any engorgement and still have milk when she returnes. The baby would have to work a bit more to get the milk for a day or two, but the milk will be there.
