For the past couple of days, my right side has produced no milk, but MAYBE a couple drops. But my left side will still produce, but not much, but I can still at least get an ounce and a half during pumping.

I had a problem with my supply when I tried to breastfeed my son too. I don't et what's going wrong ? I eat, drink LOTS of water, we were nursing regularly, and then I was pumping too because docs wanted me too. My baby will be 2 weeks old on Wednesday and already my supply is gone...

I had to supplement formula yesterday cause I had nothing...

Anyone ever hear of these problems ? I thought with my first kid I just wasn't bring healthy being a new mom ect.. but this time its the same thing happening ?!

Are you nursing? Or only pumping?

If you are nursing forget the pumping and nurse...just forget the pumping.

If you are only pumping then remember that 2-3 oz is a full bottle, pump and hand express every 2 hours round the clock, take some fenugreek pills.

Formula is the last step after you have tried everything else, it doesnt help a BFing relationship, it very often ENDS it.

I think you totally misunderstand supply and most likely did last time too

I was nursing every 2hrs, and while feeding on one side, I was pumping on the other every feeding because my docs were concerned about my daughters weight.

Then my daughter started more "cluster feeding" throughout the day and wanted to eat more often, but my right side has been producing nothing.

My let side will still produce anywhere from an ounce to an ounce and a half now in the mornings when I pump cause of the long stretch from pumping before. But during the day when I nurse her she gets upset after a couple minutes, so ill give her a bottle of breastmilk from the fridge, and then ill try and pump, and I could pump for an hour and only get half an ounce ?

I thought the more I nurse the more ky body would produce ? But my baby is left wanting more ?

Just put that baby to breast and leave her there and puyt the pump away. You're makign more work for yourself, dear. Babies are bottomless pits. Baby AND your breasts are normal! All of us have a side that produces less... how much less varies woman to woman but the only problem I read here is the bottles. Put 'em away. You were doing fine.

Four ounces per week from LOWEST weight is the gain you want to see. If doc wants more than that, then doc has mistaken your child for a prize pig for the fair.

Yeah she wanted me to pump because she was born at 6lbs10oz and got down to 6lbs 2oz. She's lost weight at every appointment so far, the docs have me going every other day to check on weight.

A breastfed baby typically loses up to 10% of their birth weight. For your baby, getting down to 5lb 14oz would be fine.

What you need to look at is diaper count. Are you changing at least 4-5 wet and 2-3 poopy diapers a day?

Fenugreek made my baby fussy it hurt her belly BUT I have recently started drinking Mother's Milk Tea and that has helped me and not affected my daughter negatively.

Good luck I would stop pumping and and just put your baby to breast as much as you can.
