Since that article or came out with the mom breastfeeding her child who was standing on the chair, I have seen several photos on facebook with moms breastfeeding with their children standing on chairs. Anyone else see anything?

No but i did have my dh stand up in defense of that picture. He sees nothing wrong with it at all and is super supportive of my nursing our dd on the way for x amount of years. No time limit in our house! I am so proud to call him mine.

Yeah he actually made me feel guilty for finding the picture offensive. I am very blessed and do not take it for granted.

I hate the picture because I feel that it intentionally makes nursing a toddler look awkward and doesn't portray a bond, or the beauty of nursing. My mate, on the other hand, was so happy to see it publicized. He said she looked empowered and confident, in her decision to do what's best for her child. Either way, he supports "extended" nursing, and I feel lucky to have his support.
