How does your baby ask to be fed?

Posted by   + Show Post

My 4 month old is very cute. He smiles at the boob and then looks up to me as if to ask. However if he is really hungry after a nap he pulls at my top and then starts the smiling routine as if to say "Yay! She understood!" LOL

How does your baby ask for it?

Cool, I think I'll try that. Thanks

Quoting Duquesne:

I started really early---in the first few months. Before he even paid any attention. And I just signed it when I "asked" if he wanted to nurse. :) he first did it around 10 months. Some do it sooner. The sign for milk :)

Quoting SLOmommy:

Cool! Is it the sign for milk? When/how did you start teaching it?

Quoting Duquesne:

He signs for it now. :)

Aaaaawww so cute!

Quoting 07lilmama1108:

Ds is 4 mos as well and does the same. Usually he says "nu-nu-nu" while grabbing my shirt to pull it down or cupping my breast. As soon as he hears the click from my bra he smiles or roots. It makes me laugh but if i take too long he looks at my eyes and says "mammm!!" Lol he's so close to saying mama.

Quoting SLOmommy:

My 4 month old usually makes the same cry-babble-talk.

Sounds like "nay nay" or "nee nee" (always with an "n" in front) or he makes the hungry licking lips.
