My DD is 6 months and the last 2 days she's been broke out on her butt , I've been using Balmex but it's not working and the bumps yesterday turned white .. Not sure what she's got . She goes to the doc Wednesday for her 6 month checkup . And I would hate to take her to the docs before her appt if it's just a diaper rash . Is there anything else I can do or use ?? bc Balmex isn't working .

It sounds like it. Lotrimin AF works amazing, even store brand version does the same thing. Air her little tushie out as much as possible and apply the lotion after every diaper change. My dd had one that was so bad her whole diaper area was raw, after a week of trying everything, we used store brand stuff and it was gone in 2 days!

Bm is great for any type of rash. Just express some and rib onto rash after every diaper change, then let air dry.

Sounds like yeast.  Breastmilk won't kill it.  You can use over the counter yeast cream/ointment.

A powder with zinc oxide in it. White bumps is most likely a yeast infection.
