My itty bitty baby is 2 years old today! We've been breastfeeding since day one! Even though I had a c-section she was successfully latched on with in the hour of being born! We've battled thrush, mastitess(sp?), plugged ducts...At 6 months old I found a lump in my breast.
One day it wasn't there the next it was litterally the size of a gold ball. I immidiatly went in to get it checked out. They did an ultra sound, and a mamogram but still couldn't tell what it was so they decided to do a biopsy. They took a needle the size of a chopstick and shoved it into the lump (I was numb but it was still uncomfortable!) It turned out to be a "lactating adnoid" it was a giant lump of curdled milk! Gross!! For 2 weeks after that I leaked out of the side of my boob every time I had a let down. 1.5 years later and I still have the lump, thankfully it is now the size of a marble.
I've used my liqued gold to help with pink eye, congestion, diaper rash (for my dd and a friends baby!) I've donated milk, we've gone through strikes and I was the main source of my daughters nutrition until she finally decided to she was ready to eat solids at 18 months! She's completelly healthy and completely wonderful! Loves to have her fingers painted, to climb anything and everything, doggies, sitting on my nice soft fabric when I'm trying to cut it into diapers.
Ok sorry this was so long!! Here's the birthday girl!
