6 months... whatever veggie, fruit, or meat I was having. We held off on grains until a little bit later when they were very interested in them.
Mine were around 8 -9 months when they just got table food. It would be what ever we ate. I ground it up and they could eat it.
As soon as she could pick it up and eat it. Started around 7-8 months but usually only when we were out at a restaurant or a friend's. When we were home she was more interested in nursing.
She didn't really show an interest until about 11 months.
If we have pasta, she gets plain noodles (i'd give her sauce, but she won't sit in her highchair) and whatever meat I put in the sauce. Or I give her some veggies too.
I'll shred up chicken for her too. She loves chicken.
I just want to point out for OP's sake that this is not best practice advice. bf babies should not get any solids until at least 6 months.
Doctors are not trained in breastfeeding or infant nutrition, so they really aren't the people to get advice from unless they have made a point to further their education.
Quoting dezzysnyder:I was giving my babies mashed potatoes and other soft veggies at three months. They always had a tastebof ice cream and icing off the bday cake @ every bday party Wic and hubby hated it but doc said it was fine
