I want to go swimming in a private pool with dd and i normally do the 2 shirt systems but its starting to get hot so that gets to be to hot for me and dd. But anyways when swimming i would like to wear my two piece with a shirt over for my own self esteem. I would prefer not to use a cover because that will be hot as well.

Is there any other options especially during the hot months?

2 piece with a shirt over would work well--shirt up, boob out the top of your top piece and nurse.

A two piece, usually a tankini.

Yes i currently don't have a tankini ... Didn't have a need for it before. Its just with a couple of friends so i might just have to warn them that they will have to deal with my not so pretty tummy. Until i get one.

We went to a water park when my youngest was 7 months. I was wearing a halter bikini top. I pulled the breast out of the top and just nursed while we were in the lounge chair. I had a towel close incase he popped off or something, but it was all good and no one seemed to notice. It just looked like I was holding a sleeping baby.

I usually wear what I normally do and I bring my sling with me.

A bikini/ tankini combo! So one goes up, one goes down and you're still good!!!

Me? I just cover the top part of my boob with a towel and he covers the rest

I find the best coverage while remaing comfortable is a surf rash guard. I prefer it to a tankini because I am constantly in rough surf, or throwing my kids around in the water. Things pop out. :)

It just goes over the bikini top, and is excellent protection from the sun.

Here's one of mine...but they come in a wide range of styles and price points.

Hope you find something that makes you comfortable.

EDIT: Sorry! I forgot this was nip.....well I have used the rash guard for that too. It's not difficult but I guess the tankini may be a better option.:)
