Today I yelled "Shut Up"at my 9month old(and when I say yelled, I mean LOUD, like probably my neighbor in other duplex heard me)
I can't even believe I did this.
Did it work? No. Just made him cry harder, I would have too:(
He's been crying and crying and crying for the last couple days, because he's so tired, because he's NOT SLEEPING WELL!
I even put him in the crib for 5 minutes , shut the door, and let him scream...I've never done that before. It's not that I thought I would hurt him or anything, I was just so annoyed, I couldn't stand it.
Am I horrible? Who does this:(
I'm so sad at myself.

None if us are prefect. A sleep deprived mom and baby makes a yucky combo :(
Whats up with the sleeping? Is he teething?

*hugs*  I've done that before.  I think it's a good idea to put baby somewhere safe and walk away.  It won't hurt him to cry while you have a few minutes to calm down a regroup.

Is he sick?  Maybe an ear infection or teething?  9 months is prime evil growth spurt territory too!  Hang in there, you'll get through this.  You aren't horrible at all!

Aww, sometimes you have to set them down and walk away to collect yourself.

This post actually makes ME feel better! I've done that too and it has always haunted me. I was sure if anyone knew, they would think I was horrible! We get overtired and cranky as well, so time in the crib is best when mommy needs to relax for a minute. If you don't beat your child, you are not horrible. ;)

Been there. Done that.

You're human. You're overwhelmed. Next time, try to take a mommy time out before it escalates to that point.

Hugs! A cranky baby is no fun.

I am seriously sleep deprived right now, and just can't seem to catch up, even just a little. I lay down with him at every nap, try to nap too. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. He sleeps well at nap time , but lately
here at night, its starting to take several hours to get him to calm down and fall asleep. Then I lay him in crib (he spends maybe 10min. to 1.5hr a night in it(rest is in bed with me) I have *just* enough time to inhale food and brush teeth....sometimes, then he's awake again. He doesn't stay up at this point if I lay down with him he'll mostly go right back to sleep for awhile then he starts to crawl back and forth over me, where he sucks on one nipple then the the other, then back, and you get the point. It just doesn't stop, back and forth, and I think he's mostly asleep, but if I try to stop it he screams...:( I'm so tired.

He's not sick, just had 9month check up, has 4teeth, so yea, probably teething..at 4months his sleep patterns started going downhill, and slowly its just gotten worse and worse (but never horrible as I've heard others) I think it very well has something to do with 9months .sigh.
Thank you:)
