Diaper rash can happen! I would give lots of naked bum time and when he's wearing a dipe use some cream until it goes away. I like to use coconut oil but there's many options.

Could be the diapers you're using. My little one breaks out if we use Huggies. Put breastmilk on it. :) You'll be amazed.

We've been using pampers, but when we got home we've used huggies a few times & he pees out of them so we try not to use them lol

Wow I've never heard of using breastmilk

Pretty normal stuff. Their skin is adjusting to life outside the womb and they are going potty constantly.
Just use some diaper cream or coconut oil with every diaper change.

I would do the naked time but he pees soooo much & we don't have a washing machine, I have to wait for my mom to wash our clothes

That's a pain! Air time really is the best, maybe lay him down with an open diaper under him?

I love A&D. I have never had to deal with a diaper rash on either of my children (at least not yet with the 5 month old) but any time they appear to be even the slightest bit red, I will slather it on and it goes back to normal before the next diaper change.

My 4.5 year old (has been potty trained for almost two years now.) has sensitive skin and will get itchy if he is hot. I will even put A&D on him when he gets that way (he scratches his bum...) and it helps that clear up as well. Huge A&D fan over here.

How often do you change the diaper? Diapers need to be changed at least every 3 hours. I use cloth diapers with my children because most diapers make them break out like crazy. We can use Seventh Generation or Nature Baby Care or Earths Best disposables but everything else is baaaaaad. In a pinch we can use the cheapest store brand diapers. Huggies, Pampers, etc. are insta-rash for our kids.

You'd be suprised how much bm can do! It's like mom's 409, better than spit, lol!
