Making a list so I can go online, shop n compare and buy some things, specifically for BF'ing. Did I miss anything?
Boppy pillow
Pump
Nursing bra
Nursing pads
Nursing covers
1 for home
1 for public

That's all I have. Idk what else I'm missing.

I didn't use my cover past the first two weeks, after I was comfortable with bfeeding. A few times, I have thrown a blanket over baby and my shoulder when I thought it more appropriate to be more modest (wedding, family dinner, etc)  Either way, I wouldn't get two. (Why do you need one for home?)

Why would you need two covers?

Look at the My Breastfriend... it is much firmer than the Boppy, so your newborn won't sink in. Boppys aren't actually made for nursing.

Medela gel soothies. They were a life saver at the beginning.

I need one at home for when my bf has his friends over, going over his relatives house and for my kids. I'm not big on letting the kids see. I don't want them to til they are older.

my boppy was rockhard I thought softer would be better. Then again, I had c section so it helped, esp with feedings. Heck, some of the time I used it as a neck pillow lol

You want firm for the baby so he/she doesn't sink in and possibly suffocate. :)

I think I been using it wrong the. Do you put the boppy around your tummy, hold baby in your hands and rest your arms on the boppy?
