My baby just turned 3 months old yesterday. I want to do child lead weaning and not give solids until he is about 6 months.. I read about it in this group actually.. lately he's been sucking on his hands and fingers and being really fussy. He acts as if he's hungry so I offer to nurse but he just gets very mad. I thought maybe he was teething, but I don't see any obvious signs. He goes on and on eventually gives up and nurses. I ff my first and he was a big baby. I had the go ahead to start cereal with him around 3.5 months because he Dr said he showed signs of being ready. My 3 month old is also a big baby. I know ff babies and bf babies are different when it comes to starting solids and my Dr said not until 4 months.. I don't want to keep him from eating fuller foods if he is hungry, but Idk what to do as i know bm is what's best for him. I get a lot of mixed replies with some moms saying to listen to his cues and others saying stick to bm as long as possible and some say listen to my Dr. I want to do what is best for him. Is this a sign of being hungry?
