My starting a new job & I plan on pumping at work, only problem is I will only be allowed to have a 30 min lunch break ( in which I will pump ) & 10 mins for bathroom break in an 8 hr time period. Will my supply still keep up w/ baby w/o having to sub formula, I really enjoy bfing baby & this job is much better pay so I cant pass this up. Any tips/ advice?

The law requires that they give you as many breaks as you need to pump. Most moms need 3 pump sessions. I always got away with 2 10 minute ones.
You could also pump first thing every morning before work to help out.

Worst case scenario that you do need to use formula, just make sure you follow the ounce per hour rule RELIGIOUSLY. Yes your supply will drop some if you aren't pumping enough for her while separated, but that will be in response to you not needing as much milk not a true loss of supply. You will still make every bit your baby needs when you are together.

This. If hr won't help go to the labor union or lll to help with the company.

Actually, the time they're providing is fine. And yes, you'll be able to keep up.

My personal working mom's guide:

1. Pump one side while nursing the other EVERY morning feed that you're home, seven days a week. Skipping not allowed.

2. Milk is ONLY used when you're NOT home.

3. Buy THREE sets of pump parts. Never wash at work... just toss the dirties in a bag and wash at home in your own sink which will be far cleaner.

4. One pump session for every three hours away. Have a timer and pump to TIME, not to amount. Whatever you get is fine. It is possible to do this in ten minutes start to finish.
