so my little munchkin sometimes seems to feed on the hour. has anyone ever experienced this with their newborn? mine is officially 3 weeks old today =)
Yep, sounds like a growth spurt. It signals your body to make the milk they need. 3 weeks is a big one. You should consider yourself lucky that it's only an hour in between. Mine when they went/go through growth spurts nursed at least every half hour.

yep... dd nursed every 1-2 hours around the clock until she was 6 months old. As long as you're feeding on demand, you're fine!

I had a baby that during growth spurts would nurse every 15-20 minutes and normal nursing for him was every 30 minutes to 1 hour till he was 7 months old. then I had a baby that nursed eveyr hour during spurts and 2-3 hours from early on. both were very normal things for babies. each baby is different but both styles are normal.
yeah, ds came out on a growth spurt. That first night out, he nursed every 45 minutes is what the nurse figured it out to be. My oldest daughter at first(1st child) would stay latched on ALL the time. It was nuts.

Feeding every hour is a sign of normal newborn. All good!
