Did anyone see the Rosie Pope episode where the lady is considering milk sharing and tastes the milk to choose a donor? Any thoughts? How realistic is that? My first thought was that it was very wasteful. Is there any merit to what they did?

Ugh. Rich women pretending to be mommies while the nanny raises the kid. Watched one episode thinking it would be something else. :/

I think she went about it the wrong way to. Why not show the mom the resources that could really help her succeed when her baby comes like a lacatation consultant or refer her to a LLL in her local area. I think this episode was ill planned. I do like watching the show because it is so outlandish what some moms are asking for help with. It makes me feel good that I have made the decisions I have made in parenting my two children. Oh yeah and I did that through research and trial and error. I didn't hire a pregnancy concierge person or a nanny to help me.

I saw the beginning, and after hearing that the woman quit breastfeeding after a month with her first child because she didn't produce enough milk, and she wanted a wet nurse for her second, I decided I couldnt watch. I knew it would be filled with misinformation and all sorts of ridiculousness. No one even asked her why she thought she didn't produce enough! So aggravating.

I agree with you Maurader. I was disappointed because I was thinking it was a great way to mainstream some good bfeeding info, and was totally disappointed she didn't call in a LC.

I was also kinda disappointed that RP had a scheduled induction bc her baby was "measuring big," but I should have expected that since she has wrinkled her nose at natural delivery previously.
